How do you explain to a child that...

1. Just because he found the Desitin in the drawer where he keeps his toothpaste does not mean that it will work the same.

2. Just because the football players, on the TV, are in the locker room with their clothes off does not mean that he needs to strip down to play football.

3. That it can possible hurt his parents feeling when the return from a trip and the first thing he says to them is "go back home I want to stay at Marme and Papa's house."

For the next 5 days...

My kitchen will stay clean.

I will read all of these, only to be interrupted by adult conversation.

I will be wearing these, because when in New York you should wear what New Yorkers wear...right?!?

I will be missing this precious goofy little grin.

I will miss keeping up with this active little boy. (Okay, I admit I am planing on enjoying missing the active part:)

I will spend the next 5 days in engaging conversation with my hubby...5 days...what will we talk about?

Sunny Day

"It sure is a sunny day today!" This is one of Mason's new observations that he often tells me as we are getting out of the car. Today we enjoyed our sunny day with Ms. Amber and Katie. Mason and Katie love playing together but for some reason both have trouble remembering each others name, Sam, that boy, Kendall and Memory were are few inacurate names that were thrown around.

One Month, No Post

When told to get dressed for school this morning, Mason found the key to stalling. He just got on down to his hands and knees and started saying a prayer "remember mommy we don't talk while someone else is saying a prayer."
